Contrasting Textures

Set the Soiree

There's always an excuse for a dinner party, especially this time of year. Family gatherings, Friendsgiving, holiday parties. It's all about friends and family coming together to eat, drink and connect.

We set out to design three different table settings with connection in mind. Whether it comes to planning a wedding, throwing a dinner party, or styling an event we strive to showcase love and connection. Nothing hits home more than supporting local businesses and connecting with other likeminded individuals in our community.

The three concepts we designed were A Global Setting, Minimalist Minded and Local is The New Black.

  • A Global Setting was inspired by African and Peruvian textiles from Jamie Lauren Designs. We wanted to showcase a bright, laid back table setting that would look great in a friend's back yard.
  • Minimalist Minded was inspired by the beautiful clay pieces from Two Hands Full. We wanted to showcase a grey and ivory pallet with pops of color and texture from different food items.
  • Lastly, our favorite table Local is The New Black was created with a local, foraged, dark and moody pallet. We wanted to show that using dark rich colors with wild florals can be insanely beautiful.

At the end of the day, we hope to inspire you all at home to invite your friends and family over for some delicious local food and to remember that love is the most important thing. Let's also not forget about food, because let's face it, food is the bomb.
